Nepali TV was established in 2005 with the aim of providing quality Nepalese language TV programmes for Nepalese Diasporas living outside Nepal. We are proud to say that it is the first ever Nepalese language television channel to broadcast from Europe. Currently we provide our service to UK, Europe, Middle East and some part of North Africa. We provide our service in the UK, Middle East, America and are negotiating contracts to burgeon our TV channels in many other countries around the world.

Our Mission Statement

“To bring Nepal closer to our viewer’s heart and to help educate and create awareness among our younger generation about Nepal by televising various interesting, entertaining and educational programmes.”

We aim to provide a varied programme encompassing latest news and happenings in Nepal, Nepalese ethnic culture and traditions, latest chart toppers, educational programmes, comedy, serials, movies and much much more. We hope that our younger generation will broaden their knowledge and will have deeper understanding about our beautiful Nepal and its diverse ethnic culture and tradition and in turn pass their knowledge to posterity.

Being so far away from Nepal is bound to cause nostalgia; and it is very easy to forget and be out of touch with what is happening back home having had to lead such a busy and hectic lifestyle in the UK.  It is for this very reason that Nepali TV strives to make our viewers feel closer to Nepal and help alleviate the nostalgia by keeping them in touch with what is happening back home.  It is indeed deeply satisfying to enjoy Nepali programmes and be in touch with events back home at the touch of a button whilst relaxing on a sofa after a hard day’s work.   

Nepali TV has become a much loved channel in many households as they reap the benefits of being able to be in touch with the homeland at the touch of a button. Also being in close contact with all the UK local Nepalese communities, we are much in demand to televise local activities and events taking place in their localities.  Furthermore, we have a strong link with the Nepal Tourism Board and are working alongside them to promote tourism in Nepal.  

Nepali TV is a dynamic and evolving Nepalese channel with ‘customers’ satisfaction’ on top of our agenda and to ensure they get value for their money. We are a listening company and take feedbacks seriously to provide high quality viewing for the satisfaction of our valued customers.  As we go from strength to strength, we have a potential target of more than 1.5 million viewers.  Surely this is a testimony of our popularity and speaks volume for a channel that it still young and evolving.
